First Step

Check Your Device

Phone

You need two things: eSIM hardware (EID present) and a carrier-unlocked device. Check both before buying any plan.

📱 iPhone

Settings → General → About → EID

Compatible: iPhone XS (2018) and later

🤖 Android

Settings → About Phone → EID

Compatible: Samsung S20+, Pixel 3+, and more

⚠️ Carrier Lock: Even if your phone has eSIM hardware, it must be carrier-unlocked to use travel eSIM plans. Call your carrier to confirm before purchasing.

🔧 Troubleshooting

No service after activation

Toggle Airplane Mode off/on. Check Data Roaming is ON. Verify eSIM is default data. Wait 2–3 minutes for network registration.

QR code won't scan

Ensure good lighting. Hold camera 15–20cm away. Request manual activation code from provider as fallback.

Slow speeds

Check data threshold in provider app. Toggle eSIM off/on to reselect network. Move to better coverage area.

eSIM disappeared after factory reset

Factory reset deletes all eSIM profiles. Contact provider for new activation code. Your EID stays the same.
